Persian Orange Peel is naturally sun-dried. Orange peel when candied is widely used in Persian rice dishes and in sweets.
Combination of orange, cardamom, rose water and pistachio makes for a classic Persian Pilaf dish.
Orange Peel Serving Suggestions
Candied orange peel:
1. soak 12 slivered orange peel in 1/4 cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water
2. In a pot, mix 1 tbsp of sugar with 2-3 tbsp of water. Then add the soaked orange peels.
3. Bring to boil and simmer for a few minutes.
