Black Lime Whole (30g)

Dried Black Lime whole also known as Noomi Basra is an essential ingredient in Iraqi cuisines.

Dried black limes are naturally sun-dried to remove the water content. They are described to have zesty, earthy and sour flavour . This ingredient is used in traditional Persian and Iraqi stews and soups as a souring agent.

Black limes can be crushed into powder using spice grinder.

Black Lime Whole Serving suggestions

• Use with the Spice Library Spice Mix Baharat
• Add fresh cumin and black lime to vegetable stews
• Grind in Thermomix or other suitable grinders to powder
• Sprinkle powder on stews, cocktails or oysters.
