Kala Namak Black salt is a crushed Indian volcanic rock salt which isn’t actually black but more reddish grey. This culinary salt has a distinctive aroma due to the volcanic sulphur which dissipates very quickly once in food. The must-have ingredient for Indian chaat curry cooking.
Kala Namak Black Salt Serving Suggestion:
- sprinkle on boiled egg yolk
- Add to pickles
- Chutneys
- Add to raitas
- Vegan dish consisting of Kale, tofu and potato
- Sprinkle on fruits
